Located in the center of Croatia, Medvednica means "Bear" in Croatian as a mountain only 30 minutes' drive away from Zagreb. The summit of Medvednica is called Sljeme. In warm weather, Sljeme would be a good place for mountaineering and hiking. In winter, it will become a great skiing destination.
